Lorina Catijas is a seasoned third-generation walnut farmer, culinary herb grower, and nursery owner with over 30 years of experience. Specializing in unique edible plant varieties, she sells her products at her farm’s event space, via her mobile shop, and at farmer’s markets and agriculture expos. As the owner of Lorina’s Edible Garden and Event Barn in Escalon, she offers an immersive experience with plant selections, interactive exhibits, and expert growing advice. Lorina will also lead hands-on garden skills activities, sharing her passion and expertise with students.

Lisa Seto holds an M.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Zoology, with extensive experience as a field biologist and consultant specializing in endangered birds. She has also volunteered in wildlife rehabilitation and oil spill response. As the owner of Nature’s Critters in Sacramento, Lisa will offer engaging ecological presentations featuring live animals, while exploring garden science and conservation practices. Her expertise brings a hands-on approach to environmental education.
